I could use some help dumbing down my computer to act like a PC so I can use it to interface with the Health System computer. I know this sounds stupid, but it's a big stumbling block to doing my job as efficiently as possible, and the message I've received repeatedly is that we Mac users a big inconvenience to the health system and the University and they have no interest in becoming more user-friendly for us. Having trouble finding email addresses to send mail within VCU? Don't have everyone's mcv or vcu.edu address readily available? There is a global phonebook that I found. Once you set it up in Address Book, you will find that names auto-populate when you start typing the name/address in mail's To: field.
If you open your Address book, go to Address Book Preferences, select the LDAP tab. Click the + button to add new server. Call it "VCU address book" and in the server field, enter "phonebook.vcu.edu". There is a different one for MCVH it's server is "mcv-hub.mcvh-vcu.edu" Hope this helps
